From federal policy analyst to founder โ€” and outspoken critic of broken funding systems.

Aman Chahal is the Founder of Cleantecher Inc., where she directs venture strategy across blockchain digital identity, clean-tech financial mechanics, and applied AI. Her career runs through the institutions that shape Canadian innovation policy: Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Sustainable Development Technology Canada, and Opus One Solutions, before moving into venture building and executive education as a Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Alberta.

She has chaired and vice-chaired Canada's ISO Blockchain Standards committee, shaping international consensus on digital identity and distributed ledger frameworks. Her commentary has appeared on CBC News, in Research Money, and in The Hill Times โ€” consistently making the case for merit-based, transparent capital allocation over compliance-driven bureaucracy.
